This is read by the detector, and the polygraph examiner compares it with the normal level and concludes whether the person told the truth or lied.

The polygraph examiner will immediately notice if the interviewee resorted to some methods to confuse the process (took a sedative, came in an intoxicated state, behaved inappropriately). The session can be postponed to the next time, or, in the worst case, determined as a lie detector.
